# Flat ribbon cable page — image and technical sources

These are independent real photographs used to explain cable geometry, connectors, routing and historical assembly contexts. None depicts a Super Smile product, factory process, test record or certification. The images were selected after the page copy was drafted. Display framing and web-size reduction do not alter the technical content; CC BY-SA derivatives remain available under their respective source licenses.

## Technical reading used for fact-checking

- [3M High Flex Life Cable 3322](https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b5005572021/) — an example of a specified high-flex ribbon construction; its performance is product-specific, not a default ribbon-cable rating.
- [3M Round Conductor Flat Cable 3667](https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b00039644/) — round-conductor layout and branch-splitting considerations.
- [3M Twisted Pair Flat Cable HF100](https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b00039379/) — a distinct flat-cable structure for signal applications.
- [3M Shielded/Jacketed Flat Cable 2229](https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/p/d/b5005655000/) — shielding and jacket options are specified by construction.
- [Omron connector selection reference](https://components.omron.com/us-en/system/files/2023-05/ds_related_pdf/Y271-E1.pdf) — conductor pitch, connector contact arrangement and compatible cable must be checked together.

No supplier rating is presented as a verified Super Smile capability. Actual gauge, pitch, bend duty, environmental suitability and acceptance criteria require the chosen part number and project drawing.
