ECU / DCU Service Harness
OverviewThis automotive or transportation harness type must be matched to the exact vehicle, equipment, tool or controller. Connector shape alone cannot prove pinout, protocol, power routing or functional compatibility.

Selection & Project Review
01 Application Boundary
An ECU or DCU connector can combine battery and ignition feeds, grounds, regulated sensor supplies, analogue and digital inputs, low-side or high-side outputs, communication buses, shields and reserved circuits. Connector identity is only the first layer.
02 Project Inputs
Provide controller manufacturer and exact part number; vehicle or equipment platform and model year; connector housings, terminals, seals and backshells; mating-face views; released pin schedule; supply voltage and load current; network type; sensors and actuators; branch and splice drawing; installation zone; length datums; protection; quantity; labels; and the required bench, vehicle or environmental validation.
03 Release Records
We translate approved interface data into a controlled drawing, bill of materials, circuit table and test program. Samples are checked for connector fit, keying, wire and seal compatibility, pin mapping, dimensions and the agreed electrical functions before repeat production. Vehicle function, calibration, programming and safety behavior remain system-level responsibilities unless the exact equipment and validation scope are included.
04 Interface Review
Confirm the exact mating interface, pin map, dimensions and installation orientation.
05 Sample Acceptance
Agree the sample configuration and electrical, mechanical or environmental checks required by the project.
06 Change Control
Record changes to materials, drawings and process instructions before repeat manufacture.
Send the part number, drawing or sample to confirm the replacement configuration and sourcing plan.
